Translation of the Holy Quran by Dr. Gilani

The Opening - Chapter 1               |               Contains 7 verses – Mecca

الْحَمْدُ للّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ 

2-

الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِ

3-

Most Gracious and Merciful,

 مَالِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ  

4-

Master and Ruler of the Day of Judgment, i

إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ 

5-

You alone do we worship and You alone do we ask for help, c

اهدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ المُستَقِيمَ  

6-

to guide us in the correct and straight path (towards You), j

صِرَاطَ الَّذِينَ أَنعَمتَ عَلَيهِمْ غَيرِ المَغضُوبِ عَلَيهِمْ وَلاَ الضَّالِّينَ 

7-
 

the path of those whom You have greatly blessed, h
not of those subjected to anger, nor of those who deviated and strayed  (into the wrong directions).  j
