The Livestock  - Chapter 6
|
Contains 165 Verses – Mecca   |

|

|

|
In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Mercifulذ

|

| 1- | All praises and thanks to God, Who created
the heavens and the earth and established darkness and light. Yet those who disbelieve, imagine others as equal with their
Lord.
|

|

| 2- | He is the One, Who created you from clay
(substances of earth), He also decreed a term (for your life) and the duration of the
determined time, is in His power and knowledge
(as to when you will
die),
yet you are in doubt.
|

|

| 3- | And He is God in heavens and earth,
(everywhere) He knows your secrets and what you reveal and He knows
what (points) you earn (good or bad).
|

|

| 4- | And not even one Verse (Lesson) of their
Lord's Verses reaches them, except that they have been turning
away from it. |

|

| 5- | Indeed, they rejected and called the truth (the Quran)
as lies when it came to them, but then, the news
of the truth of what they have been making fun of, will come to
them (after their death).
|

|
| |

| 6- | Don't they consider how many generations
before them, We destroyed, whom We had provided with strength, such as We have not provide you with?
And We poured abundant rain from the sky upon them and made rivers flow in their lowland;
later We destroyed them because of their sins, and created other
generation after them.
|

|

| 7- | And even if We had sent down a written
Book in paper form, so that they could touch it with their
hands, the disbelievers would have said: "This is nothing but an
obvious magic."
|

|

| 8- | They (the disbelievers) said: "Why has not
an angel been sent down to him (Muhammad)?". Had We sent down an
angel (, that would have meant), the matter would have been judged
(by God, for their punishment), then they would not have been
granted any opportunity (to think and repent).
|

|

| 9- | And had We appointed him an angel, We
would have certainly made him (the angel) like a man and dressed him as they are dressed.
(By that,
We would have caused them certainly (more) confusion than what they already are in).
|

|

| 10- | And indeed Messengers before you
(Muhammad) were made fun of, but they who mocked, were surrounded
(and punished) by the very fact that they used to make fun of.
|

|

| 11- | (O Muhammad) Say (to them): "Travel in the
land and then observe what was the end of those who rejected and
belied the truth".
|

|
| |

| 12- | (O Muhammad) say: "To whom
belongs all that is in the heavens and the earth?". Say (to
them): "It all belongs to God, He decided for Himself to
have Mercy (by creation).
Certainly He will gather you together
on the Day of Resurrection,
in which there is and won't be any
doubt (when you get there).
Those who do not believe, are the
ones who hurt themselves (thus cause harm to their own beings,
by not believing)."
|

|

| 13- | "And to Him belongs whatsoever exists or
dwells during the night and the day and He is All Hearing,
All Knowing."
|

|

| 14- | Say: "Am I supposed to imagine and accept a
protector or boss other than God, the Designer-Creator of the
heavens and the earth?
And He is the One who feeds but is not fed
and never needs to eat.
(O Muhammad) say:
"I have been commanded
(by God), to be in the forefront of those who submit themselves
(to the guidance of God)
and that you should not be of those
people who take others as partners to God (as polytheists).
|

|

| 15- | Say: "I fear if I disobey my Lord, from
the suffering of the Great Day (of Resurrection). |

|

| 16- | If the suffering is kept away from
someone on that day, indeed He (God) has been Merciful to that person and
that is an obvious success.
|

|
| |

| 17- | And if God lets a harm reach you, there
is none that can remove it, except He, and if He lets a goodness
or blessing reach you, then of course He is Able and Determinant over all
things.
|

|

| 18- | And He is the Supreme Dominant over His
Servants and He is the All Wise, All Aware. |

|
| |

| 19- | (O Muhammad) say: "What is the greatest thing
to bear witness to?", say (to them): "God is (the
Greatest) to bear witness to and He is Witness between me and you
and this Quran has been
revealed to me, so that I may warn you and whomever it would
reach
(in the future).
Do you really bear witness and have proof that
besides God, there are gods (or deities)?"
Say: "I don't
bear witness to that and I don't attest such thing (that there
is any partner to God)."
Say: "He is in
reality the only One worthy of worship and I keep myself off
from what you join in worship with Him."
|

|

| 20- | Those, on whom We gave the Scripture
(the Jews and Christians) recognize him (Muhammad, by reading
carefully the details of his coming in the Bible),
  Click link for the article
just as they
recognize their own sons.
Those who have caused loss on
themselves (by denial and prejudice), are the ones that won't
believe.
|

|

| 21- | And who is more unjust than the one who
invented a lie against God (such as Paul who invented the Trinity
into Christianity from Greek and Roman mythology)
or belies and
rejects His Verses and Evidences?
Of course, the unjust people
shall ultimately not succeed (in the Hereafter)!
|

|

| 22- | On the Day, when We gather them altogether,
then We shall say to those who associated others in
divinity: "Where are your idols and partners and false gods that
you used on imagining?"
|

|

| 23- | Then their excuse will be none except saying: "By God, our Lord, we were not those who believed in others as
gods."
|

|

| 24- | Look, how they lied against themselves and
the lies that they used to fabricate (during their earthly
existence with imaginary idols),
disappeared from them.
|

|

| |

| 25- | And from amongst them are some who listen
to you, but (by their persistent denial,) We have let veils upon
their hearts, so that do not understand it (the Quran)
and We
let (central) deafness in their ears and even if they would see
any of the Verses and Evidences,
they will not believe it, to
the point that when they come to you, (they come only) to argue
with you,
the disbelievers then would say: "These are nothing
but tales of the ancient people."
|

|

| 26- | And they hinder others from him (Muhammad and
from the Quran) and they also keep themselves away from him (and the Quran),
this way they only destroy their own
being and personality but they don't get it.
|

|

| 27- | If you could see their situation when
they are held at (Hell-) Fire, then they will say: "Woe to us, if only we could go back (to the world) and we
would not deny the Verses and Lessons of our Lord
and we would be also of the
believers."
|

|

| 28- | Not so, but in reality what they kept on
hiding (the truth) before, has manifested to them (in that
moment), and if they are permitted back (to the worldly life),
they would certainly go back to their routine of behaving
against that
which they were forbidden and they are indeed
liars.
|

|

| 29- | And they used to say: "There is no life
other than our life on this world and we won't be ever raised up
(after death)." |

|

| 30- | If you could see the situation when they are
put to question by their Lord, He will say: "Is this
(Resurrection and the checking of the accounts of worldly
behavior) not true?",
they will say: "Yes, by our Lord".
He will
say: "So then taste the suffering, because you used not to believe
and kept on denying (the truth)."
|

|
| |

| 31- | Certainly those who belied the Meeting
with God (in the Hereafter) are the losers, to the point when
the moment (of realization) suddenly happens to them (after
death),
they would say: "What a pity for us that we neglected
it,"
while bearing their burdens (of denials and sins) on their
backs; evil is indeed (the burdens) what they will be bearing.
|

|

| 32- | And the life of this world is nothing
but play and amusement. But indeed the home of the Hereafter is
the better choice and aim for people who are God-conscious,
pious.
So then won't you reason and understand?
|

|

| 33- | We, of course are Aware that what they
(the disbelievers) say, causes you sadness; they are not (only) belying you, but it is the Verses of God that the oppressors
of truth, the wrong-doers are challenging.
|

|

| |

| 34- | Indeed the Messengers before you were
also denied and rejected, but then they were patient on what
they (the disbelievers) rejected and they were hurt, till Our
Help reached them.
And no one can change the Words (of
Decisions) of God.
Surely some of the news of the life of the
Messengers has already reached you (by earlier Verses).
|

|
| |

| 35- | Also if their keeping away (from the
truth) is hard on you, imagine even if you could try to dig in the
earth or seek a ladder or means of going to the sky to bring
them a proof,
(they would still not believe in the truth).
And
if God had willed, He certainly could have gathered them (by
force) all on the true guidance
(but God gave them choice), so
don't be of those who are ignorant
(of God's decision for the choice that He gave to mankind).
|

|

| 36- | Only those who listen (to learn), accept
(the Message of God), but as for the dead (-hearted, the
disbelievers), God will raise them up (at Resurrection), then to
Him they will be made to return (for questioning).
|

|

| 37- | And they said: "Why has not a sign (or
miracle) been sent down to him (the prophet)?" Say: "Certainly
God is Capable to send a sign, but most of them do not know.
(that the Quran with its Revelations is great Miracle)

|

|

| 38- | There is no moving (living) creature
on earth, nor any bird that flies with its two wings, except
that they are connected communities, similar to yours;
We have not
neglected mentioning anything in the Book (The
Quran),
then they (all living moving beings) shall be gathered back to
their Lord.
|

|

| 39- | Those who reject our Verses, are deaf and
dumb in the darkness (of ignorance). Whomever God wants, lets
astray (because of their persistent rejection)
and whom He wills, (and that person wants to be guided,)
He guides and puts that person onto the straight and correct way of life.
|

|

| 40- | (O Muhammad) say
: "Have you considered, if God's punishment reaches you or when the Hour (of hardship or Resurrection) comes upon you,
would you call anyone other than
God?
If you are truthful (, answer this question).
|

|

| 41- | Of course not, but to Him Alone you would
call, then He will remove the distress for which you call upon
Him, if He wills and you would forget at the time,
whatever false partners you had imagined along with His power.
|

|

| |

| 42- | Indeed, We sent (Messengers and Messages)
to many nations before your time. Then (when they disobeyed and
rejected), We caught them by distress and severe losses,
so that
they might (get the point and) pray humbly.
|

|

| |

| 43- | Why then some, on whom Our punishment of
distress arrived, did not pray humbly, instead their hearts became hardened?
That is because Satan made their acts and behavior seem fair to
them.
|

|

| 44- | Then when they forgot the warning, to
which they were reminded, We (temporarily) opened for them the doors of every (pleasant) thing (giving them more chance
to be tested),
till while enjoying whatever they were provided with, suddenly
We seized them,
then they were down in despair, sorrow and
regrets.
|

|

| |

| 45- | That way, the roots of evil people who
kept on doing wrongs, were cut off and all praises are due to God, the Lord of the worlds and the Lord of all which exist.
|

|

| 46- | Say (to the unbelievers): "Have you
considered if God would take away your hearing and your sight and would seal off your hearts (so you could not then
understand),
who is other than
God, powerful enough to restore them for you?"
Look how extensively
We explain our Verses (so that they might understand and
believe),
yet they turn away (from the Truth).
|

|

   | |

| 47- | Say: "Have you considered if the
punishment of God comes to you suddenly or openly (expectedly), will any (of you) be totally destroyed except the wrong-doing people?
(Meaning lasting destruction of personality of a human being)
|

|

| 48- | And We have sent no Messengers, but as
givers of good news (to good people) and as warners to the bad ones. So whoever believes, does self-improvement and does good
righteous works, there shall
not be any fear on such persons,
nor shall they be sad (in the
the Hereafter)
|

|

| 49- | As for those who reject Our Verses, the punishment for their denial and disobedience (of Our
Guidance) will reach them.
|

|
| |

| 50- | (O Muhammad) say: "I am not telling you
that I have control over God's Treasures and I do not know (see) the
invisibles, nor do I tell you that I am an angel.
I only follow
what has been revealed to me."
Say: "Is a blind person and one
who can see (the truth) in equal position?
Won't you give then
some thought (to it)?"
|

|
| |

| 51- | And warn by it (by the Quran) those who
(may) fear that they will be gathered to their Lord, when there
is no one as a protector, nor as an ally or as an intercessor (or means of help) other
than He (God),
perhaps they become God-conscious, (respecting
God's Commandments).
|

|
| |

| 52- | And do not disregard or turn away those
(not wealthy people) who call, praying to their Lord, mornings and evenings, seeking the privilege of His approval.
You are not
responsible for their accounts, neither do they have anything
to do with your account (of deeds),
so if you turn them away, you
would then be of the unjust people.
|

|

| |

| 53- | That way We test some people (by their
wealth) compared to other people, as they might say: "Are those (poor believers), people favored by God from amongst
us?"
Is God not Best-Aware of the grateful (and of the
ungrateful) people?
|

|

| |

| 54- | And when people who believe in Our Verses
come to you, tell them: "Peace be on you, your Lord has ever decided Mercy by Him,
so that indeed anyone of you has done evil by
ignorance, then thereafter turns to God, repents and does good
(to correct his or her wrongdoing, should know that), He is surely
Very Forgiving, Most Merciful (to good people),
|

|

| 55- | And that way We explain the Verses of
Guidance in detail, so that the route of choice for the sinners
become clear (do they want to continue their life in sins or
turn to God and repent and improve their situation).
|

|

| 56- | Tell (them O Muhammad): "I am forbidden
to worship those whom you call (in worship) other than God." Also say: "I do not follow your desires (to worship other than
God).
Of course I would go astray into wrong direction if I did
that and I would then not be of those truly guided ones.
|

|

| 57- | (O Muhammad) say: "I am on a path of
clarification from my Lord, (on believing in the One Invisible
God), but you deny it (the truth of my inspiration).
I have no authority on what you are asking impatiently
(punishment to prove if I am right).
The decision rests only with God, He declares the truth and He
is the Best of all Judges."
|

|

| 58- | Say: "If I had the power on what you keep
asking (for the punishment) impatiently, the matter would had been
settled right away between me and you,
but God (with His
Patience and Mercy) knows best (how to deal with) unjust
sinners.
|

|

| |

| 59- | And by Him (in His Knowledge) lie the keys
of the unseen secrets, which no one knows except He. And He
knows whatever is on or in the land or the sea;
not even a
leaf falls, but that He knows it and there is not even a grain in the darknesses of the earth
and not a thing wet or dry except that
it is all recorded in an explanatory Book (of God's Design Scheme).
|

|

| 60- | And He is the One who takes your
consciousness away by night (when you sleep) and knows what you had
performed during the day,
then He raises you up (from sleep)
into it (another day)
for the time (of your life) to pass till a
predetermined time (of death).
Then to Him will be your return
(into His custody).
Then He will inform you of all that you had
been doing.
|

|

| 61- | He is the Supreme Master and Dominant over His
Servants and He sends guardian angels over you till the time
when death arrives upon each of you,
when our angel-messengers take
up his (or her) soul and they never neglect their duties.
|

|

| 62- | Then they are returned (delivered) to
God, their Rightful Master. Be aware, Judgment is His, and He
is the Most Swift of account-takers !
|

|

| 63- | (O Muhammad) say: "Who rescues you from
the darknesses of the land and the sea, while you call upon Him
in humility and in secret (saying):
"If He (God) would save us
from this mess, we would certainly be so grateful."
|

|

| 64- | (O Muhammad) say: "God rescues you from
this and from all distresses, yet thereafter you give credit to
others also!" |

|
| |

| 65- | Say: "He is Capable to cause torment
(suffering) on you from above you (like storms) or from below your feet (like earthquakes and floods)
or
cover you with the dilemma of difference and disarray into
groups and let you taste the violence of one another."
See how
extensively We explain the Verses (and Lessons of the Quran), so
that they might get the point.
|

|

| 66- | (Despite all this explanations,) your
people (O Muhammad) have denied it (the Quran), whereas it is
absolutely the truth. Say (to them O Muhammad):
"I am not going
to be your protective defender (on Judgment Day),"
|

|

| 67- | For every news and information (that God
gives in the Quran), there is a reality of its place and its time of happening and you shall know it
(in the future)
|

|

| |

| 68- | And when you (Mohammad or other Muslims)
notice that people are engaged in false conversation about Our
Verses (of the Quran), mocking at them,
get away from them till
they turn to another topic.
And if Satan causes you to forget
(this order), then after remembering, do not sit in the company
of the evil unjust people.
|

|

| 69- | There is no responsibility on the
God-conscious people of the accounts of the evil people, but it is good to remind them, so that they may stop and avoid doing evil,
|

|
| |

| 70- | And leave alone those who take their religion
as a play and amusement (to make fun of it) and whom the (attractions of) the life of this world has
deceived and misled.
But do remind (people) to it (the Quran), otherwise a person will be
so involved in self-destruction by his or her deeds
that there is no way that person could have (any salvage),
any
protector or ally-intercessor other than God (on the Judgment Day),
and if
he or she would try any ransom or bail, it won't be accepted
from those who got themselves messed up by their acts
of misdeeds. For them, there will be a drink of boiling fluid
and a
painful suffering because they used to deny and disbelieve.
|

|
| |

| 71- | Say: "Shall we call and pray to other gods
beside God, who can do us no good or harm and turn back on our heels (return
to the previous regime of many gods),
after God has guided us, like the one whom devils have made
confused in the land (not knowing right from wrong).
Anxious and worried about him, (some companions of him, they)
call him to guidance, (saying): "Come to
us".
Say: "God's Guidance is the real guidance
and we have been ordered (by God) to submit ourselves to the
Lord of the worlds, Lord of all that exist."
|

|

| 72- | "And to keep up with regular prayer and to avoid
disobeying him and He is the One, to whom all of you shall be
gathered". |

|
| |

| 73- | And He is the One who created the heavens and
the earth for manifestation of the Truth, and any time He would command, saying: "Be!", it is (whatever He
commands to be).
His Word is the Truth and to Him belongs the dominion and
mastery
on the Day when it will be blown in the Trumpet (on the Day of
Resurrection).
(He is) the All Knowing of all the unseen and the visibly
evident and He is the All Wise, All Aware (of all happenings).
|

|
| |

| 74- | And remind when Abraham said to his father
Azar: "Do you take idols as gods? I really see you and your people in clear and evident error."
|

|

| 75- | And that way, We showed Abraham the Control
of the heavens and earth (by God), so that he would be of those who believe with certainty.
|

|

| 76- | Along this way (of gaining certainty), when
night covered him with darkness, he saw a star. He said: "Is this my Lord?".
But when it set, he said: "I don't like (to worship things that
go down)!"
|

| |

| 77- | Then when he noted the moon rising up, he
said: "Is this my Lord?" But when it also set, he said (to himself):
"If my true Lord does not guide me, I would be among those who
went the wrong direction."
|

|

| 78- | Later when he saw the sun rising up; he said:
"Is this my lord?, this is bigger." But when it also set, he said:
"O My people, I am indeed free of
and I dislike whatever you imagine as partners (to God)."
|

|

| 79- | For my part, I certainly concentrate my
attention to the One, who has created the heavens and earth, in sincere purity
and I am not of those who associate others to God (and His
Godliness)."
|

|

| |

| 80- | His people also disputed and argued with him. He said: "Are you arguing with me about God,
whereas He indeed guided me to the Truth and I have no fear of
whatever (idols) you associate with Him,
except whatever my Lord would want (to cause harm).
My Lord's
Knowledge widely encompasses everything.
Will you then not think (about it)?
|

|

| 81- | "And how could I have fear of those idols
that you associate in worship to God and you don't fear that you are indeed associating in worship
with God,
things for which He has sent down no permission or authority for
you to worship those things.
So which party is more deserving to have security (you
idol-worshipers or I)? I wish that you knew it"
|

|

| 82- | Those who believe (in the Oneness of God) and
don't mess up their faith with injustice (worshipping others as well), are the ones with real security
(in faith) and they are the guided people.
|

|

| 83- | And that was Our proof (of the Oneness of
God), which We gave Abraham to present to his folks. We raise (by guidance) the status of whomever We want, by
degrees.
Certainly your Lord is All Wise, All Knowing.
|

|

| |

| 84- | And we gifted him (the birth of his son)
Isaac and (his grandson) Jacob, each of them We guided and before him, We guided Noah, and among
his descendant relatives were:
David, Solomon, Job, Joseph, Moses and Aaron.
That way, We reward good behaving people (who believe in the One
God and bring up their families in that direction).
|

|

| 85- | Also Zachariya, John, Jesus and Elias, all of
which were righteous people, |

|

| 86- | And Ishmael, Elisha, Jonah and Lot and each
of them We preferred above all people (of their times), |

|

| 87- | And also some of their fathers and their
descendants, and their brothers and We chose them and We guided them to the straight correct way
(of life).
|

|

| 88- | This is the Guidance of God, by which He
guides whom He wills of his servants. But if they associate in worship others along with God, the
benefit of all their efforts will become,
of course worthless, invalid, cancelled.
|

|

| 89- | Those were people whom We granted the Book,
the Rule of Law and the Prophethood and even though some of the people disbelieve in that,
We have indeed appointed and entrusted it to some people (such as Muhammad)
who have not been disbelievers in that matter.
|

|

| 90- | Those were people whom God guided, so follow
along their guidance. Say: "I do not ask you any reward for this (Quran).
It is only a reminder for all the inhabitants of the world."
|

|
| |

| 91- | They (the Jews and the pagans in Arabia at
the time of announcement of the Quran,) did not appreciate God's Grandeur, which is due to Him, when
they (the Jews and pagans) said:
"God did not send any revelation to any human being."
Say (O Muhammad): "Who then sent down the Book that Moses
brought,
which was a source of light and guidance for people, which you
(the Jews) put it up into separate sheets, showing it off,
but concealing and hiding much (of it) and now you (believers)
have been taught (through the Quran)
that which neither you, nor your forefathers did not know".
Say: "God" (sent the Torah down to Moses).
Thereafter leave them play (with words) in their useless
discussions.
|

|

| |

| 92- | And this Book (the Quran), We sent down as a
source of blessing, confirming the available revelations (before
it), so that you (Muhammad) may warn the inhabitants of the mother of
towns (the main town Mecca)
and all those living around it.
Those who believe in the Hereafter, believe in it and they keep
up guarding their regular prayers.
|

|
| |

| 93- | And who could be more unjust than the one who
would invent a lie about God or claim: "A revelation has come to me (as a prophet)"?
Whereas no revelation at all came to him, also the one who would
say: "I will reveal the like of what God revealed."
If you could only see such evildoers in the agonies of death
when the angels (of death) reach forward their hands,
(saying): "Give up and deliver your souls, this day and time you
will be given the suffering of humiliation,
because of what you used to say, without any right about and
against God
and you used to be disrespectful and arrogant toward His Verses
(of the Quran)."
|

|

| |

| 94- | (God will say:) Indeed, you have come to Us
alone, as We had created you the first time and you have left behind your backs all that We had granted on you,
Also We do not see your allies or intercessors with you, which
you imagined to be partners for you,
indeed all relations has been cut off between you and vanished from you,
all
that you used to imagine (that they would help you).
|

|

| 95- | Indeed, God is the Splitter of the seed-grain
and the fruit-stone (to sprout and grow). He brings living beings from the dead matter,
and He brings dead out of living being.
That is God (who does that), then how come you are away from the
truth?
|

|

| 96- | (He is) the Breaker of the dawn (of the day)
and He made the night a means of rest and the sun and the moon floating, as means of accounting of
time.
This is the decision-determination of the All Mighty, the
All Knowing.
|

|

| 97- | And He is the One, Who placed the stars, for
you, to be guided by them in the darknesses of the land and the
sea. We have indeed explained the Signs and the Verses for people who
know (how to understand the Truth).
|

|

| 98- | And He is the One, Who designed and created
you from a single (human) personality, also in a residing place (the human body) and in a storage
condition (after the death),
We have explained the Signs and the Verses in detail for people
who understand.
|

|
| |

| 99- | And He is the One, Who sent down (rain)
water from the sky, t hen We brought forth by it vegetation and plants of
all kinds,
thus We brought forth greenery and green shoots, from which sprout
clustered grain.
And out of date-palm and its fruit branches, come forth bunches
of dates hanging low and near,
and gardens of grapes and olives and pomegranates, similar and
yet different (in their taste and shapes).
Just look at their fruits when He causes them to begin to bear fruits and
to become ripe.
Certainly in these observations, there are Signs (of God's
Creativity) for people who believe (in God's Absolute Mastery).
|

|

| 100- | Yet (ignorant people) assumed partners of the
Jinn race to God (in Creation and Dominion), whereas He (God) created them all and they also falsely
and without any knowledge attributed sons and daughters to Him,
(Glory be to Him,) He is beyond and above all this nonsense that they
describe and attribute to Him.   2
|

|

| 101- | He is the Originator of the heavens and
earth. How could there be children of Him when He never has any wife?
And He created everything.
He is All-Knowing of everything.
|

|

| 102- | Such is God, your Lord. No one is worthy of
worship except He; the Creator of everything. So worship only Him.
And He is the Guardian over all things.
|

|

| 103- | Eyes can not grasp or see Him, but He
perceives and sees all eyes (which He created them all). He is All-Aware of all details and Well-Acquainted.
|

| 104- | Truly (by the Quran), means of insight,
perception and understanding have reached you from your Lord. So whoever wants to see the truth, is doing favor to himself or
herself
and whoever wants to be blind, is harming self and (say Muhammad
that:)
"I am not your protector or defender."
|

|

| 105- | Even though this way, We extensively explain
(Our) Signs and Verses, yet they (the disbelievers) would say: "You (Muhammad) have
studied (this from previous Books)",
and We certainly intend to make it (clear) for people who have
gained the knowledge
|

|

| 106- | Follow that which has been revealed to you
from your Lord, (O Muhammad); there is none worthy of worship except He and avoid associating
with non-monotheists
(people who worship other than the One God).
|

|

| 107- | If God had willed (by compulsion), they would
not have taken other than Him in worship (but God let them have choice in their behavior)
and We did not appoint you as a guardian over them (to force
them not to worship other than God),
also you are not their defending attorney.
|

|

| 108- | And do not insult those who call in worship
others than God, since they (the disbelievers) would insult God out of animosity, without any
knowledge (by ignorance).
Thus we have let seem fair the action of each people to
themselves,
then the end return of all will be to their true Lord and He
shall then inform them of all that they used to do
(during their life).
|

|

| 109- | They swear by God in strongest oaths that if
a sign of a miracle would come to them, they would believe in
it. (O Muhammad) say: "Miracles are with God (and by His decision)
and how do you know, even if miracles would arrive, they still
won't believe.
|

|

| 110- | And we let their hearts and their eyes avoid
perceiving (the guidance and miracles), just as they refused to believe in it in the first place and we
let them wander blindly in their rebellion and trespassing
|

|

| 111- | And even if We had sent down to them angels
and the dead would speak to them and if We would gather all beings to them (as miracles) before
their own eyes, they would still not have believed in,
unless God had willed so, but most of them behave in an ignorant
manner.
|

|

| |

| 112- | And so We have let for every prophet, enemies
as devils in mankind and Jinns,
3 some inspiring others by arranged speech and words, in a
deceptive manner.
And if your Lord had willed (by force and compulsion), they
would have not done it,
(but God let them have choice,) so leave them alone and with
whatever words they fabricate.

| 113- | And this way, the hearts of those who do not
believe in the Hereafter, have tendency to such (deceit) and that they become happy with it and so they become committed
to (all kinds of sins and evil acts).
|

|

| 114- | (Say:) "Shall I seek a Judge other than God? While He is the One who sent down to you the Book (the Quran) in
detail."
Those on whom We had given the Scripture (the Torah and the
Gospel) know (in their hearts)
that it (the Quran) is revealed from your Lord for explaining
the truth.
So do not be of those who remain in doubt.
|

|

| 115- | And the Word of your Lord is being completed
in truth and justice (in the Quran), no one can change His Words and He is the All Hearing,
All Knowing.
|

|

| 116- | And if you would obey the majority of those
on earth, they would mislead you badly, away from the way of
God. They do not follow (in their religion) other than guessing and
they are only occupied by lies and untruths
(such as keep on misrepresenting Jesus, son of Mary as God or as
son of God).
|

|

| 117- | Of course your Lord is the One who knows best
those who stray from His way and He is also Most Aware of the rightly guided persons.
|

|

| 118- | So eat of that on which the name of God was pronounced, if you are real believers in His Verses (of Guidance: the
Quran).
|

|
| |

| 119- | And why should you not eat of that
on
which the Name of God was pronounced while He explained to you in detail what He made forbidden to
you,
except in a very difficult situation when you need to eat (and
have no lawful food available).
Surely many mislead others, on their own desires through lack of
knowledge (of God's orders).
Of course God is Most Aware of trespassers (of God's Laws).
|

|

| 120- | (O Mankind) Avoid overt and hidden sins. Certainly those who earn-commit sins, shall get the results of
what they used to commit.
|

|

| 121- | And do not eat of that
on which the Name of God was not mentioned, as it is a disrespect (of
God's Law), and certainly the devilish people inspire their
friends-allies
to keep on disputing and arguing with you (about
lawful and unlawful foods)
and if you obey them, then you practically
become multi worshippers (by worshipping and obeying their
ways also).
|

|
| |

| 122- | Is the person who was (spiritually) dead
and We gave him life (of realization of the Truth) and provided
for him a guiding light by which he can walk and communicate
amongst people,
like the one whose existence is in the darknesses (of ignorance), from which he can not exit?
Thus (in the
long run) appears fair to the disbelievers, the routine which
they had been doing
(and so they can not get out of their sinful
behavioral habit).
|

|

| 123- | And thus We let in each town, the senior
big shot sinners to plan and plot evil in it. But what they plot
is only against themselves as well and they don't get it.
|

|

| |

| 124- | And whenever a Verse (of the Quran)
reaches them, they say: "We won't ever believe until something
like what was previously given to the Messengers of God, comes
to us."
God knows best on whom to place His Message.
Humiliation and great suffering will hit those criminals by God,
because of that which they used to plot.
|

|
| |

| 125- | And whomever God wants to guide, He opens
his heart to embrace Islam (submit to God only) and whom God wants to let astray, He makes his chest tight and
difficult,
as if he is climbing up into the sky
(same as a person becomes increasingly short of breath when he
is going up in high altitudes).
4
Thus God places inner hardship on people who do not
believe.
|

|

| 126- | This is the Way of your Lord (the Quran
and Islam), leading straight and correct. We have indeed
detailed Our Revelations for folks who spend good amount of time
and effort to understand.
|

|

| 127- | For them, there is the condition and
home of peace by their Lord (in this world and in Paradise), as
He is their Helper-Guide-Protector in their efforts.
|

|

| |

| 128- | And the Day He gathers them all, (He will
say:) O you the Jinn race, you did mislead many human beings.
5 And
their friends from amongst humans will say:
"We tried to take advantage
from each other but now we have reached the point which you
determined for us.
He will say: "the Fire (of Hell) will be your
stay, remaining in it forever, except as God may decide
otherwise.
Certainly your Lord is All wise, All Knowing."
|

|

| 129- | And thus We let some unjust evil ones
befriend and control others, by means of what they earn (in sinful
cooperation). |

|
| |

| 130- | (God will say on the Day of Judgment:) "O you
the race of Jinns and the race of humans, did not Messengers come to you from amongst you, who read My
Verses to you
and warned you of the meeting of this Day (of Reckoning) of
yours?"
they respond saying: "We bear witness against ourselves."
It was the life of this world that deceived them and they bear
witness against themselves that they were disbelievers.
|

|

| 131- | This is to mean that your Lord would not
destroy whole towns for their wrong-doing (of disbelief) while
their people were unaware (of any Message from God).
|

|

| 132- | For everyone (in the Hereafter also),
there will be degrees and grades of achievement according to
what they performed (in this world), as your Lord is never
unaware of what they do.
|

|

| 133- | And your Lord is the Rich (without any
needs), the Owner of All Goodness and Mercy. If He wills, He can
take you away and replace you with whatever creatures He wants,
just as He raised you from the descendants of other folks.
|

|

| 134- | Certainly what you are being promised,
shall come to pass and you are unable to hold it off (or get
away from it). |

|

| 135- | (O Muhammad) say: "O my people, act
according your way, I certainly am doing my duty. Soon you will
find out, for whom there will be the happy ending in the
Hereafter;
of course the wrongdoing unjust people won't be
successful."
|

|

| |

| 136- | And they put a share of the produce and
the cattle and livestock aside and said: "This is for God," according to their
guess and (put another share and said:) "This is for our gods."
Then what they put for their gods, would not reach God,
but whatever offering was assigned for God, would reach their
god-partners.
Evil is indeed the way they judge.
|

|

| 137- | In the same way, the killing and sacrificing
of their children appeared reasonable to many of the
polytheists (idol worshippers), to turn them away from the truth
and to
make ceremonies in their religion against their own interests
for the sake of their idol-gods.
And if God had willed (by force), they would not have done such
things (but God let them have choice).
So you leave them
alone with their fabrications.
|

|

| |

| 138- | They also said according to their
imagination and claim: "These livestock and crops are
forbidden and no one may eat of it except whom we allow
and some of the of livestock are forbidden to be used for
carrying anything on their backs
and there are some livestock on which the name of God is not pronounced
(at
the time of
slaughtering)",
all these are lies against Him (God, Who did not
make such rules).
He will punish them for the lies that they have used to fabricate
(these lies).
|

|

| 139- | And they said: "Whatever is in the bellies
of these such cattle (fetus), is for our males only and
forbidden to our females, but if it is born dead, then all may
have shares in it."
He will punish them for their false claims
and explanations, as He is All Wise, All Knowing.
|

|

| 140- | Certainly those who killed their
children, are losers, foolish and without knowledge and they
have disallowed that which God had provided for them, inventing
a lie against God.
They went indeed far astray and were not rightly
guided.
|

|
| |

| 141- | And He is the One, who brings to life
covered and uncovered (unroofed) gardens, date-palms and crops of different tastes, olives and pomegranates similar in species,
yet different (in taste).
Eat of their fruits when they become
ripe, but also pay the due (poor's share) from it on the day of
its harvest
and do not waste, as God does not like wasteful,
extravagant people.
|

|

| 142- | And of the livestock, some are for carrying loads (such as camels, mules and horses etc) and some are small
(non load carrying, like sheep and goats etc for food, milk and wool).
Eat of what
God has provided for you and do not follow the footsteps of the
Devil-Satan (who disagreed with God's Rule).
Surely he is an
open enemy against you.
|

|

| |

| 143- | (Of the livestock, there are) Eight pairs; two (male
and female) of the sheep and two of the goats (,as an example). Say (to the pagans who make up rules and then say God made those
rules, asking them):
"Has He forbidden the two males or the two
females or the fetus which the two female's wombs carry?
Inform
me with any such knowledge, if you are truthful."
|

|
| |

| 144- | (Similarly,) of the camels, two (male and
female) and two of the cattle (male and female). Say: "Has He
forbidden the two males or the two females or the fetus which
the wombs of the two females carry?
Or, were you present when God
recommended to you such a rule?
(Now you know that you are not
telling the truth,)
who is more unjust and wrong than the one who fabricates
a lie against God, to mislead people without any knowledge?"
Certainly God does not guide the unjust wrongdoing people
|

|
| |

| 145- | (O Muhammad) Say: "I do not find in that
(Quran) which has been revealed to me anything forbidden to a
person who wishes to eat it, except it be a dead animal (not
slaughtered)
or the blood poured out,
or the meat of pig (pork) which is of course impure and unlawful
or the meat of animal slaughtered sinfully in the name of other
than God, as a sacrifice.
However when someone gets into a
difficult situation (of hunger with no other food)
without
purposeful disobedience or intent of trespassing the due limits
(of God),
then (to him or her) God is Very Forgiving, Very Merciful.
|

|

| |

| 146- | And to those who have the Jewish
tradition, We prohibited all animals which have undivided hoofs and We forbade them fat of the oxen and the sheep,
except that
fat which is held on their backs or their entrails (inside their
bodies) or is mixed with bone (bone marrow).
This way, We
punished them by restrictions for their rebellion (eating usury,
killing people etc) and We mean the truth.
|

|

| 147- | And if they (the Jews) call you
(Muhammad) a lier, tell them: "Your Lord is the Ever-Holder of Mercy, yet He does
not turn away His punishment from the criminal-acting people."
|

|

| |

| 148- | The pagans (polytheists) would say: "If
God had not wanted, neither we or our forefathers would not have
taken partners besides God and we would not have forbidden
anything (against God's Rules)".
People before them, said similar lies, until they tasted Our punishment.
Say: "Do you have any
knowledge (and proof of the rules) that you can produce for us?
You are only
following a guess and you are only argument is nothing but nonsense."
|

|

| 149- | Say: "The Ultimate Word is by God
(through His Message); had He willed, He would indeed have guided
you all (by force, but He let you have choice)."
|

|
| |

| 150- | Say: "Bring forward your witnesses, who
could testify that God has forbidden this (or that)". Then if
even they testify, you (Muhammad), do not testify with them
and
do not follow the baseless desires of those who call Our Verses,
as lies
and those who do not believe in the Hereafter and hold
others equal with their Lord.
|

|
| |

| 151- | (O Muhammad) say:: "Come, I will read
what your Lord has forbidden for you: Do not associate anything
or anyone with Him (in His Godliness),
be nice and kind to your
parents,
do not kill your children because of poverty, We
provide livelihood for you and for them,
do not get close to
shameful sins (illegal sex), whether openly or in secret
and do
not kill any person whom God has forbidden, except for a just
reason
(such as retribution for murder, by an Islamic court of law).
This He has commanded for you to uphold,
so that  you will
become reasonable and understand the meaning (of these laws)."
|

|
| |

| 152- | And don't get near an orphan's property
except by a most correct attitude until he or she reaches the
age of full strength (physical and mental puberty)
and give full
weight and measure fairly (when selling something);
We do not burden any
person except to the extent of his or her power.
And when you speak, do so
truthfully and justly, even if a close relative is concerned
and
be faithful with a promise you made to God.
This He does command
you, so that you remember and be mindful."
|

|

| 153- | And this (Advice) is certainly My
correct straight way, therefore do not follow other paths which
consequently will deviate you from His path.
This He has
recommended for you, so you be mindful and pious.
|

| 154- | Then also, We gave Moses the Book
(Torah) completely, and as a fulfillment for people who would do right and as an
explanation of all aspects and as a Guidance and Mercy,
so that
they would believe in the meeting with their Lord.
|

|

| 155- | And this Book (the Quran) we have sent
down, with blessing. Therefore follow it and be God-conscious and
pious so that you become subject to Mercy.
|

| |

| 156- | Also you (Arab pagans) won't have an
excuse telling: "The Book was sent down only to two groups (the
Jews and the Christians) before us
and we really have been
unaware of their teachings."
|

|
| |

| 157- | Or you would say: "If only the Book had
been sent down to us, we would have surely been better guided
than they (the Jews and Christian)",
but now, indeed a clear
proof and clarification has reached you from your Lord, as a
guidance and mercy.
Who is then more unjust and wrong than those
who call God's Verses (of the Quran) as lies and turn away from
them?
We shall punish those who turn away from Our Verses and Lessons,
with grave suffering because of their turning away.
|

|
| |

| 158- | Are they waiting (before being convinced
of the Message) that angels should come to them or even your
Lord would come at them
or some of the Signs of your Lord (as
unusual miracles) would appear to them!?
The day that some of
the Signs of your Lord arrives,
(such as the beginning of the
End of this world, or when the death of a person arrives,)
no
good will it do to a person to believe then, if he or she had not
believed before
or had gained and earned any good points by his
or her faith.
Say: "You (non believers) keep an waiting and we
Muslims too are waiting (and will see the consequences of our
behavior)".
|

|

| 159- | Surely those who divide their religion
and broke up into religious sects, you (Muhammad) have nothing
to do with them at all.
Their case and affair is only with God,
Who will then (in the Hereafter) inform them what they were
doing.
|

|

| 160- | Whoever brings (promotes) a good deed,
shall be rewarded ten times the value of that and whoever brings
about an evil deed, will be dealt with only the same amount and
the kind (of harm)
and they won't be dealt with unjustly or
wronged.
|

|

| 161- | (O Muhammad) say: "As for me, my Lord
has truly guided me to the correct and straight way (of life), an upright religion, the same religion of Abraham, pure
monotheistic
and he was never one of those who associated
partners to God."
|

|

| 162- | (O Muhammad) say: "My prayer, my
sacrifice, my life and my death are all for the sake of God, the
Lord of the worlds (and the Lord of all that exist),"
|

|
| |

| 163- | "He has no partner and I have
been commanded to believe in such way and that I am in forefront among the Muslims
(those who submit themselves to God, in peace)"
|

|
| |

| 164- | Tell them: "(you suppose) that I (Muhammad)
would ever seek anyone other than God as a lord? While He is the true Lord of all things!
No one earns a point of
sin, except against him or herself
and no one shall bear the
burdens (of sins) of others.
Then at last, your return, shall
be onto your Lord;
thereafter He will inform you about the matters
in which you had differences of opinion."
|

|

| 165- | And He is the One Who made you as
successors of generations after generations on earth and raised the rank and
status of some of you above others,
by which He tests you with
(the rank, wealth, power etc) that He has granted on you.
Surely
your Lord is Swift in retaliation and certainly He is
Very Forgiving, the Most Merciful (to good people).
