Translation of the Holy Quran by Dr.
Gilani |
Bees - Chapter 16
|
Contains 123 Verses – Mecca |
|
In the Name of God, the Most Gracious the Most Merciful |
|
|
1- |
The Command of God (for Justice) shall
come to pass, so do not wish and try to make it happen sooner.
Glory to Him,
He is High Above all what the polytheist (pagans) assume
and associate. |
|
|
2- |
He sends down the angels with the
inspiration, by revelation of His Command upon whomever
of His good servants He wills, to warn:
”O (mankind): there is no
real deity except Me; therefore be conscious of Me.” |
|
3- |
He has created heaven and the earth for
the truth (to be known),
He is High Above what they (the
idolaters, polytheists) associate (as partners with Him). |
|
4- |
He Has created human being from a coupled
cell (a combination of male sperm and female ovum),
then this same human being
becomes an open opponent. |
|
5- |
And the cattle, He has created them for
you, in which there is warmth (clothing, fuel of dried manure,
etc),
and
many benefits and you eat of them (their meat and dairy
products). |
|
6- |
And in them you find beautiful scenery
when you bring them home (in the evenings)
and when you let them
to pasture (in the mornings) |
|
7- |
And they carry heavy loads for you to a
city which you could not reach
otherwise
except by great
hardship on yourselves.
Indeed your Lord is Very Kind, Most
Merciful. |
|
8- |
And (among the four legged animals, He has
created:) horses, mules and donkeys for you to ride on
and as a
beautiful being to look at and He creates other things of which
you have no knowledge. |
|
9- |
And (because He is your Creator,) it is
upon God to explain the goal of the right path;
There are also some ways that let people astray and if He had willed,
He would have guided you altogether (by force but He gave you
choice) |
|
10- |
He is the One Who sent down water from the sky
for you;
from which you drink and from which vegetation grows, where you
pasture your cattle. |
|
11- |
He causes by it to grow crops,
olives, date-palms, grapes and all kinds
of produce for you.
Indeed in this (providing of foods and
growth) there is a Sign (of God’s Design and Majesty) for people
who tend to think. |
|
12- |
And He subjected the night and the day, the
sun and the moon for your benefit,
and the stars, all of which are subjected to His Command.
Certainly in studying these, there are Signs (of His power and
Majesty) for people who use their reason. |
|
13- |
And all that He has created for you on
earth which are of different colors.
Certainly in studying these, there are
Signs (of His Majesty) for people who pay attention
(to these
phenomena, how God Almighty from the mostly brown earth creates
all these
flowers, plants, trees, animals and people with so many
varying colors.) |
|
14- |
And He is the One Who subjected the sea for your
use to eat fresh tender meat (seafood) from it
and that you may
bring out of it, ornaments to wear (pearls, etc)
and you watch the ship keep on moving through it, by which you
could seek of His Bounty,
(by transporting and trading goods from place to
place)
and that (by appreciating their values) you might be
grateful (thanking God for all His Blessings). |
|
|
15- |
And He fixed stable mountains in the
earth to prevent it (the earth) from shaking you (by
instability)
and He placed rivers and mountain roads (through
the valleys and passes,) so that you may find your ways. |
|
16- |
And by landmarks (such as mountains
peeks) and by the stars (such as the north star during the
night),
they (mankind) find their ways. |
|
17- |
Is then the One, Who Creates is the same as (the
idols and icons) that do not create?
Won’t you then remind
yourselves (of this fact)? |
|
18- |
And if you would count the blessings of
God, you could not count them completely.
Truly God is Very Forgiving, Most Merciful. |
|
19- |
And God knows what you conceal and hide
and what you reveal. |
|
20- |
And all these whom they (the idol
worshippers) call and pray to, other than God,
they do not
create any thing, but they are and became created themselves, |
|
21- |
They are dead, not alive and they don’t
know when they will be raised up (for
account). |
|
22- |
Your True Deity is One God and those who
do not believe in the Hereafter,
their hearts deny (this truth) and there are even proud (of their disbelief and pagan
rituals). |
|
23- |
No doubt, God knows what they conceal and
what they show off.
Certainly He does not like the arrogant people. |
|
24- |
And when they are asked; “What is that
which your Lord has sent down (as Revelation)?”
They respond
saying: “Tales of the ancient people.” |
|
25- |
It will be that they shall bear their own
burdens of responsibility in full on the Day of Resurrection,
and additionally part of the burdens of those whom they had
misled without knowledge.
Evil is indeed what they have to bear. |
|
26- |
Those similarly before them plotted also,
but God struck at the foundations of their buildings and the
roof fell down on them from above them
and the punishment came
upon them from directions they could not perceive. |
|
27- |
And on the day of Resurrection, He will
humiliate them and will say:
“Where are My (supposed) partners
about whom you disputed (with those who believed in Me Alone as
God)?"
(They will have no answer, but) those who were given knowledge
will say:
"Indeed on this day, disgrace and misery is upon the
disbelievers.” |
|
28- |
Those whose lives the angels (of death) take,
while they are harming themselves (by disbelief or sinful acts),
while they reach the state of submission (they say): "We have
not been doing anything wrong",
to which it will be answered: “Yes, God is All Knower of all that you had been doing", |
|
29- |
“So now enter the gates of Hell, to
remain in there forever.
What a really awful staying place it is for
the arrogant ones”. |
|
30 |
And the pious people are asked: “What
is that which your Lord has sent down (as Revelations)?”
They
would respond: “All goodness”.
For those who do good in this
world, there will be good (reward of satisfaction)
and the life
at home in the Hereafter, will be better
and the home of the
pious will indeed be excellent.” |
|
31- |
Gardens of Eden (Eternity), which they will
enter, below which streams and rivers flow.
They will have there
anything they wish.
This is the way God rewards the pious (God
conscious) persons. |
|
32- |
Those whose lives the angels (of death)
take while they are in pure state (pure from any disbelief or
evil),
they (the angels) say:
“Peace be on you, enter the Garden (of Paradise)
because of what you used to do (during your life on earth). |
|
33- |
Do they (the disbelievers) expect anything
other than that ultimately the angels should come to them
(at
time of their death) or the command of your Lord shall come (for
their punishment in this world or in the Hereafter)?
Similarly
acted people before them (missing the opportunity to do good);
and God did not wrong them, but they kept on doing wrong
to themselves. |
|
34- |
Then the evil results of their deeds hit
them and that which they used to ridicule, surrounded them. |
|
35- |
And those who associate others in worship
(besides God), claimed (saying);
“If God had willed neither we,
nor our forefathers would have worshipped anyone but Him,
nor
would we have forbidden anything without Him (commanding us)”.
So
acted and behaved people before them also (with these attitudes of
theirs).
Could then the messengers have any duty other than
clearly communicating the Message (of God)? |
|
36- |
And indeed, We have raised from amongst
every community, a Messenger (telling them):
"Worship God Alone and
avoid tyrants and other deities”.
Then from among them, there were
people whom God guided
and some deserved to be confused and remain in
error (because of their belligerence and false pride).
So travel on earth, then observe what was the end of those who
denied and called the Message a lie. |
|
37- |
Even if you (Muhammad) anxiously wish for
their guidance,
(you should know) then that in fact God does not
guide those whom He lets astray (because of their stubborn
attitude).
And such people will have no helpers (to guide them). |
|
38- |
And they swore by God with their
strongest oaths that God will not raise up anyone who dies.
But
yes, it is a promise upon Him in truth (to raise all mankind
at Resurrection Day),
yet most people don’t know this. |
|
39- |
(All dead mankind will be raised up) In
order that He may make clear to them the truth of matters
in
which they had different opinions (during their earthly
lifetime)
and that the disbelievers will know that they were
telling lies and were liars. |
|
40- |
In reality, when We intend on something
to come into existence,
as soon as We say for it to: “Be”, it
immediately comes to existence. |
|
41- |
As for those who emigrated for the Cause
of God, after they had been wronged (and persecuted by the
disbelievers),
We shall certainly give them goodness and good
stay in this world.
And the reward in the Hereafter will be
greater, if only they knew. |
|
42- |
(They are) those who remained patient
(for the cause of God) and put their trust in their Lord
(Alone). |
|
43- |
And We did not send before you, but men
(as Messengers),
on whom We sent Revelations (to teach people to
believe in the One and Only God).
If you don’t know about it, ask the
people of Scripture (learned people of the books). |
|
44- |
We sent them with clear reasoning and
Books
and We have also sent unto you (Muhammad) the Reminder
(The Quran),
so that you would explain and reason clearly for
the people what is sent for them (for their good)
and that they
may give thought about it. |
|
45- |
Do then those who devise evil plots
(against the believers,)
feel secure that God would not sink them
into the earth or that (other) punishment would not arrive at them,
from situations and directions that they do not understand? |
|
|
46- |
Or that He may seize them during their
(daily) activities,
then they could not overcome or escape from
(the punishment). |
|
47- |
Or that He may gradually or to a lesser
degree involve them with problems?
as your Lord is indeed Very
Kind and Most Merciful (to good people). |
|
48- |
Why don’t they look at all that God has
created, how their shadows go right or left
(by movement of
heavenly bodies and movement of objects),
they are in reality
obeying, prostrating themselves to (the design and Will of)
God
and they are most humble. |
|
49- |
And to God prostrate (not only the shadows
but) all that is in the
heavens and the earth,
from the moving creatures on to the angels
and they don’t feel too proud (to bow down to Him). |
|
50- |
They fear to disobey their Lord Above
them and they do what they are commanded to do. |
|
51- |
And God said: (O mankind)
“Don’t accept two gods. In reality He is only One God.
Then pay attention
to My Commands (and avoid sins)". |
|
52- |
And to Him belongs all that is in the heavens
and the earth and the true everlasting religion is His
(not the false religions which people fabricate).
Are you then going to
heed and fear those other than God? |
|
53- |
And whatever blessing and good you have
is from God.
Then when a harm and loss touches you, you cry
aloud to Him. |
|
54- |
Later, when He removes the harm or
hardship from you, then some of you,
associate other entities
with their Lord (for having removed the problem). |
|
55- |
So, as a result, they become ungrateful
for what (help and blessings) We gave them.
Then enjoy
yourselves for a while, then you will get to know the truth (in
the Hereafter, with great regret) |
|
56- |
And they make offering from a portion of
the provision that We gave them, to some (false deity)
which do
not know and are not aware (of their offerings and that these
false deities are unable to help them).
By
God, you shall be certainly questioned about all the nonsense
that you used to fabricate. |
|
57- |
And they assume daughters for God,
Glory to Him,
He is
Above and Beyond all that they associate with Him.
And they
assign what they wish for themselves. |
|
58- |
And when anyone of them (the pagan Arabs) is
given the news (of the birth) of a female child,
his face becomes dark (with anger) which he keeps inward. |
|
59- |
He keeps away from the folks because of the
'bad news' he was given (so as not to discuss it).
(he wonders if) Should he keep her (daughter) with dishonor or
bury her alive in the ground?
(that is what he is thinking about).
What an awful way they judge and decide. |
|
60- |
For those who do not believe in the
Hereafter, there is an awful description and example.
And for God (‘s remembrance), there is the highest description
and He has the Highest Attribute.
And He is the Almighty, the All Wise. |
|
61- |
And if God were to seize mankind each time
for their wrongdoings,
He would not leave any single moving creature alive,
but then He postpones and leaves the opportunity for them till a
later appointment time
(the time of there death, and the Day of Judgment in the
Hereafter).
Then when their time comes, they can neither delay it for one
hour, nor can they advance it (ahead of time). |
|
62- |
And they offer and assign to God what they
dislike (for themselves)
and their tongues express the lie and falsehood, saying that
they will deserve goodness (in the future life).
No doubt they will get the Fire and they will be hustled into it
and left in there. |
|
63- |
By God, We sent indeed (Messengers and
Messages) to people and nations before you (Muhammad),
but then Satan made their acts seem fair and nice to them,
so he is their supposed 'supporter' on this day and they
will have a painful suffering. |
|
64- |
And We sent down the Book (the Quran) to you,
only to explain clearly to them the subjects in which they had
differences of opinion
and as a guidance and mercy for people who believe. |
|
65- |
And (as before) God sends down (rain) water
from the sky, then He brings back to life the land after its
death,
Certainly in observing this, there is lesson and sign (of God’s
Might)
for people who would listen (to the Message of God). |
|
66- |
And in fact, in observing the cattle, there
is a wonderful sign (of God’s Might and Design) for you.
We give you pure mike to drink, which is delicious and tasty for
the drinkers,
from between the organs of their bellies (from their intestines)
to the place of their droppings
and through their blood flow organs.
0 |
|
67- |
And from the fruits of date-palms and
grape-vines,
you derive both sugar, a intoxicant drink and also a good
nourishment.
Certainly in this, there is a lesson for people of reason
(to make good use of God’s Blessings; use the good nourishment,
not the strong drinks which contain intoxicants). |
|
68- |
And your Lord inspired the bees:
“Take and make homes in the mountains and in the trees and in
what they (people) erect (for vines to grow on)”.
1 |
|
69- |
“Then eat of all kinds of fruits and follow
the routes that your Lord guided you to fly and transport
(water and the extracts to make honey)”.
There comes from their bellies a liquid of different colors, in
which there is healing for people (‘s wounds and illnesses).
Certainly in this phenomenon, there is a sign (of God’s Might)
for people who think (about it).
2 |
|
70- |
And God has created you and later He cause
you to die.
And from among you are those who are sent back into the age of
weakness,
so that they do not know (or remember) anything after all that
learning and knowledge.
Of course only God is All Knowing, All Powerful, Assigner.
3 |
|
71- |
And God favored some of you over others on
livelihood.
Then those who have been favored more, would not hand over (part
of) their wealth and livelihood
to those who are under their hands and authority, so that they
may be equal with them in that respect.
Are they in fact then (by their withholding help to their
inferiors, not) denying the Blessing of God (to others)? |
|
72- |
And God made from your species, mates and
spouses for you
and by your spouses, He made children and grandchildren for you
and He granted you good clean provisions (for your living).
Do they (the disbelievers) then (despite of this fact), believe
in falsehood (false gods) and they deny the Blessing of God
(by worshipping other than the Only One Creator of all)? |
|
73- |
And they worship, other than God, entities
which have no power to provide anything for them,
from the skies, nor from earth, and they have no capability to
do so. |
|
74- |
Therefore do not put forward any similarities
or similar for God (as there is none similar to Him).
In reality God knows and you don’t know (all of the Truth). |
|
75- |
God gives an example (of comparison between)
a person as a slave,
who is possessed (with false beliefs and attitudes) and who has
no ability of doing anything worthwhile,
and another person on whom We have granted plenty of good
(spiritual and material) provision from Us.
He then spends of that capability (in the Way of God to help
others), in secret or openly.
Can they be equal?
All the praise with worship is due to God, but most of them do
not know and are unaware (of this important point). |
|
76- |
And God gives (other) example of two men, one
of the two is dumb (with no good understanding),
who has no ability of doing any good and he is a burden on his
master (who tries to teach him the truth),
as whichever way he directs his attention to, brings no good
result.
Is such a (dumb) man equal to other man who calls up for justice
(in the society and true belief)
and he is on the right track? |
|
77- |
And to God Alone belong all the secrets and
the mystery of the heavens and the earth.
And the command for the Hour (of Time of Judgment) is but like a
twinkling of the eye (very sudden)
or even nearer (and faster).
Certainly God is All Powerful and the Determinant over all
things. |
|
78- |
And God brought you out of the wombs of your
mothers, when you had no knowledge
and He granted hearing and sight and hearts (the inner ability
to think, in that order) for you
4
so that you might appreciate and be grateful. |
|
79- |
Don’t they see the birds controlled in the
air of the sky?
None holds them (to fly like that) but God.
Certainly in this (phenomenon of flight in the air),
there is an important sign and message (of God’s Might) for
people who believe. |
|
80- |
God granted your homes for you to be places
of rest and tranquility for you to stay in
and He granted for you from the skin of cattle, tent houses,
which you find them light to carry on the day of your travel and
the day when you (put up the tent to) stay in;
and from their wools, furs and hairs, furnishing (such as
carpets, blankets, warm clothing etc)
and a means of convenience and use for you for a while (till
they wear out or sold or given to others). |
|
81- |
And God made shades for you from what He has
created
and made for you in the mountains (caves), places of shelter
and refuge and made for you clothing to protect you from the
heat (and cold)
and coats of protection in your time of war.
Thus does He competes His Favor upon you, so that you may submit
to the Truth. |
|
82- |
Yet if they turn away, your duty (O Muhammad)
is then only to clearly convey the Message (of God). |
|
83- |
They recognize the Grace of God (in the
Guidance), yet they later deny it (by worshipping others)
and most of them are disbelievers and ungrateful (they deny the
prophethood of Muhammad) . |
|
84- |
And (be mindful of) the Day when We shall
raise up from each nation a witness (their Messenger),
then those who disbelieved will not be permitted (to put up
excuses),
nor will they be allowed to ask for any excuses or change of
their situation or Forgiveness (too late). |
|
85- |
And when the unjust wrongdoing people see and
experience the punishment and suffering,
then it will not be reduced, nor will they be given any chance
(to wait out or to have any grace period). |
|
86- |
And when those who associated partners to
God, see their supposed 'partners', they will say:
“O our Lord, these are our partners whom we kept on calling and
praying to, aside from You.
They (these beings) will throw back their word at them (saying:)
you have indeed been lying
(to yourselves and others by calling and praying to any entity
other than God). |
|
87- |
And on that Day, they fully declare their
submission to God (Alone)
and all those (false gods, idols, saints, priests, monks, etc)
whom they falsely worshipped, will vanish from them. |
|
88- |
Those who disbelieved and hinder others from
the path of God,
We will add punishment on top of the punishment on them
because they used to spread corruption (and mislead people). |
|
89- |
And be mindful of the Day when We shall raise
a witness, in any nation from amongst themselves
and We shall bring you (Muhammad) as a witness about these
people.
And We have sent down the Book (the Quran) as an explanation
about all matters
and as a Guidance and Mercy and good news for those who as
Muslims
(submitted themselves their will and their ego to the Command of
God). |
|
90- |
Certainly God orders and commands to justice
and kindness
and to give help and care to your relatives
and forbids filthy acts (such as illegal sex), bad (prohibited)
behavior and oppression.
He firmly advises you and warns you so that you might remember
and pay attention. |
|
91- |
And fulfill your promise to God whenever you
have promised
and do not break the oath after you have confirmed it,
and indeed you have realized God as an Observer over you.
Of course God knows what you do. |
|
92- |
And don’t be like (the woman
thread-string-maker) who undid (unwinded) her thread after it
had become strong,
by taking your oaths as a means of deception among yourselves
(and against the prophet by breaking your oath of allegiance to
him and then quitting him),
just because of one group's (the nonbelievers) member is larger
than the other group (of the believers).
God in fact is testing you and that He will definitely make
clear to you, on the Day of Resurrection,
the points in which you had differences of opinion. |
|
93- |
And if God had willed, He would have made you
(by force) one nation (all believing the same),
but (He does not force you to believe and let you have a
choice,)
He lets astray whom He wants to (as that person wants to go the
wrong way) and He guides whom He wants
(and that person wants to be guided).
And you will certainly be questioned about what you used to do. |
|
94- |
And do not use your oaths as a means of
deception among yourselves,
otherwise someone’s foot after it was firmly based (on that oath
and promise), would slip
and as a consequence, you will taste the damaging result for
having hindered people from the Way of God
and then there will be a grave punishment for you. |
|
|
95- |
And do not trade or sell the oath with God
for a small price or gain,
as with God, there is (a price and gain) far better for you, if
you just know it. |
|
96- |
Whatever is in your possession will disappear
and vanish (from you at the time of your death)
and what is with God (as your reward), will be lasting
and We shall certainly reward those who remained patient and
steadfast,
to the best (and better than) of what they used to do in their
efforts. |
|
97- |
Whoever leads a correct and righteous life,
while he or she is a true believer,
We will certainly grant them a pure honorable life (in this
world)
and will definitely reward them to the best (and better) than
what they used to do in their efforts. |
|
98- |
And then whenever you want to read the Quran,
ask God for refuge from Satan (‘s temptations),
which is the outcast (from God’s Mercy). |
|
99- |
Of course he has no power over those who
believe and put their trust in their Lord. |
|
100- |
However his power influences those who are
willing to follow him as their guide
and thus place him as a partner (to God, by following his
temptations). |
|
101- |
And whenever We replace a Verse (of the
Quran) gradually with another Verse,
5
(you should know) that God is Fully Aware of what command He
sends down (to you) gradually;
they (the unbelievers) say: “You (Muhammad) are really a
forger”.
Not so, but most of them don’t understand.
6 |
|
102- |
(O Muhammad) Say: “Indeed the holy spirit
(Gabriel, the archangel) has brought it down gradually
from your Lord in truth (and to clarify the truth), to
strengthen and affirm those who believe
and to provide a guidance and good news for those who submit
their will to God, as Muslims. |
|
103- |
And indeed We know that they (the
unbelievers) say:
“It is a man that is teaching him, but the mother tongue of the
man they refer to, is a foreign language,
whereas this (the Quran) is in Arabic language, clear (and
understandable for the native)”. |
|
104- |
Of course those who do not believe in the
Revelations (Verses) of God,
God will not guide them and they will have a painful suffering. |
|
105- |
In fact those same people who do not believe
in the Revelations of God,
are the ones who fabricate lies and falsehood and they are the
liars themselves. |
|
106- |
Anyone who disbelieved after his belief in
God,
is different from the one who is forced to utter disbelief,
while his heart is steadfast with faith;
but those who open their hearts to disbelief and denial of the
truth,
upon those shall be a condemnation from God and they will have a
great suffering. |
|
107- |
That is because they have preferred to love
the life of this world over that of the Hereafter
and that God does not guide those people who disbelieve and deny
the truth. |
|
108- |
Those are the ones upon whose hearts, hearing
and sight,
God has put a seal (because of their stubborn ignorant denial),
and they are unaware (of the truth). |
|
109- |
No doubt, as a result, they will be the
losers in the Hereafter. |
|
110- |
Surely then your Lord is Most Forgiving, Most
Merciful on those who emigrated
after being persecuted (by the Pagans) and also fought (in the
cause of God to defend themselves)
and remained patient and steadfast in faith. |
|
111- |
The Day when everyone will come defending his
own case
and everyone will be paid back in full for his or her actions
(during their life on earth)
and none of them will be treated unjustly |
|
112- |
And God gave the example of a town, which was
at peace and safe,
whose provision was coming in abundance from everywhere, but its
people became ungrateful,
not appreciating the blessings of God, so God made them
experience and taste hunger and fear,
because of their misbehavior. |
|
113- |
And indeed a Messenger had come to them from
among themselves,
but they said he was a liar, so a punishing torment seized them
while they kept on doing wrong
and they were being unjust. |
|
114- |
So eat of the lawful and good food which God
has provided for you and be grateful for the Blessing of God,
if you are worshipping Him only. |
|
115- |
In fact, He has forbidden to you: (any part
of a)
dead animal
and blood
and pork
and anything (meat, food or beverage) over which the name of
other than God was invoked
7
But then when a person is forced by strong need (great hunger
without availability of any lawful food),
without intending to disobey or transgress (the rules of God, to
consume some of the unlawful food),
then of course God is Very Forgiving, the Most Merciful (to good
people). |
|
116- |
Avoid saying baseless things which your
tongues spread around such as;
“This is lawful and that is unlawful”,
thereby inventing lies against God.
Surely those who invent lies against God, will not reach
happiness. |
|
117- |
A brief enjoyment (they could have with lies
against God) but they will have a painful torment. |
|
118- |
And for the Jews, We have forbidden those
items that We mentioned to you (Muhammad) before.
8
And We did not wrong them, but they kept on doing wrong to
themselves. |
|
119- |
Then also in fact your Lord (forgives) those
who commit sins out of ignorance,
then afterwards repent and correct and amend themselves;
certainly your Lord after that, is Very Forgiving, Most Merciful
(to such persons). |
|
120- |
Truly, Abraham was (a role-model) of a creed,
thoroughly obedient to God, upright in pure faith (to the One
God only)
and he was never one of those who associate (godliness to other
than God), |
|
121- |
He was thankful for His (God’s) Favors.
He chose him (as a Messenger) and guided him into the right
path. |
|
122- |
And We granted him goodness in this world
and in the Hereafter, he will certainly be among the righteous
ones. |
|
123- |
We also revealed onto you (Muhammad) to
follow the religion of Abraham,
who was upright and correct in faith and was never one of the
idol worshippers. |
|
124- |
The (restrictive rules of) Sabbath was
imposed on those (Jews in the time of Moses)
who had different opinion about it (many thought there was
Sabbath in the time of Abraham, but there was not,
and some thought Abraham was at some time an idol worshipper,
which he never was).
And surely on the Day of Resurrection, your Lord will judge
among them
about the subjects in which they had different opinions. |
|
125- |
Call (people) to the Way of your Lord with
wisdom and with a good and kind advice
and reason with them with the best of manners.
Certainly your Lord knows best as to who has gone astray from
His Way
and He is Best-Aware of those who are guided. |
|
126- |
And if you retaliate (against your enemy),
retaliate according to what they did to you,
but if you endure patiently, it is definitely better for the
patient persons. |
|
127- |
And be patient, as your patience is only by
the Grace of God and for the sake of God.
And also don’t be sorry for them (the unbelievers)
and don’t be in distress because of what plots they design
(against you). |
|
128- |
128- Certainly, God is with those who are
pious (God conscious) and those who do good deeds (for others).
