Prostration - Chapter 32
|
Contains 30 Verses – Mecca |
|
In the Name of God, the Most Gracious the Most Merciful |
|
1- |
Alif. Lam. Mim (From Allah to Muhammad) |
|
2- |
(This is) The Revelation of this Book (the Quran),
down to earth
about which
there is no doubt, that it is from the Lord of the worlds
and all that exist. |
|
3- |
Yet they (the disbelievers) say: “He
(Muhammad) has fabricated it”.
Not so, But it is the Truth from your Lord, by which you
(Muhammad) would warn a people,
to whom no Warner had come before you, so that they may receive
guidance and follow
the right way of life. |
|
4- |
God is the One Who has created the heavens
and the earth
and whatever lies between them in six periods of time,
He also brought harmony to the universe by His Almighty Control.
There is really no one, for you apart from Him,
to be as a protector or as a middle man to intercede (on the Day
of Judgment), don’t you realize that? |
|
5- |
He manages the affairs (of His Creation) from
the heaven to the earth,
then (the result of deeds) is presented up to Him in a Day (of
Resurrection),
the duration of which will be thousand years, according to your
present time-counting method. |
|
6- |
That is the All Knower of all the
invisible and the visible, the Almighty, the Most Merciful
(to the good people), |
|
7- |
The One Who perfected the Creation of
everything and He began the creation of mankind from the clay
(earth-soil), |
|
8- |
Then He caused the offspring of mankind to be
begotten from the ingredients of a humble fluid
(spermatozoon of the semen fluid). |
|
9- |
Then He fashioned him and her in a nice
balanced way and blew of His spirit into him/her
1
and He granted you the power of hearing, the sight and the inner minds
(to think, elaborate, come to conclusions etc).
It is little and seldom that you thank Him. |
|
10- |
They even say:
“When we are lost (and become dust) in the earth, do we really
become recreated in a new act of creation?”
Not (that they want to know,) but they are in fact rejecting
even the idea of meeting their Lord (on Judgment Day)! |
|
11- |
Say: “The angel of death, who is in charge of
you, will take your souls, then you shall be brought back to
your Lord.” |
|
12- |
And if you could only see the guilty ones (on
the Day of Resurrection – Judgment Day),
having their heads hang down before their Lord’s Presence,
(Saying):
“O our Lord, now we have seen and we have heard (the truth of
resurrection).
Please send us back (to the world), so that we would do good
deeds, since now we are certain of this.” |
|
13- |
And had We willed, We could indeed have
imposed upon every person (by force), his or her guidance,
but (there is no forcing, so) the Word of Mine will be effective
that I will fill the Hell with the (invisible) Jinns and the
humans
(who did not believe in My guidance and those who were habitual
sinners), altogether. |
|
14- |
(They will be told: ) Now then taste (the suffering)
because of your neglecting and forgetting this Day of your
Meeting,
We will also neglect and disregard you,
So taste the everlasting suffering for what you used to do. |
|
15- |
Certainly only those who believe firmly in
Our Messages of Revelation,
are those who when they are reminded of them (Our Messages),
they put themselves down in prostration and glorify and thank
their Lord and are not too proud
(to bow down and prostrate, glorifying their Lord). |
|
16- |
They get up from their sides of the beds (at
night),
to call up their Lord in fear (of consequences of their past
misdeeds)
and in hope (for His forgiveness and blessings) and they spend
in charity out of what We provided for them. |
|
17- |
No one ever knows what kinds of blissful
delights are hidden from their eyes (in
the Hereafter life),
as a reward for all that they used to do. |
|
18- |
Is then the person who had been a true
believer (in his earthly life) similar to the one who was
disobedient and corrupt?
Of course they are not equal. |
|
|
19- |
Surly those who believe and do righteous good
deeds, gardens of pleasant stay are waiting for them (in
Paradise)
as a welcome gift (from God), as result of what they did (during
their earthly life). |
|
20- |
But as for those who were disobedient and
messed up in corruption,
their place of stay shall be the fire.
Every time they try to get out of there, they are pushed back in
it and they will be told:
“Taste the suffering of the Fire which you used to say was a
lie“. |
|
21- |
We also shall make them taste some of the
suffering of this world (as a result of their misdeeds) prior
and apart from the greater suffering (in the Hereafter life), in
order that they may (repent and) return
(back to God and His Commandments). |
|
22- |
And who is more unjust and more wrong than
the person, who is reminded of the Messages of His Lord,
then he turns away from them?
Certainly We shall inflict
retribution on the sinners. |
|
23- |
And indeed We gave the Book (the Torah) to
Moses
and don't have any doubt that you will meet him (Moses, in the
Afterlife),
and We made it (the Torah) as a guide for the Israelites. |
|
24- |
And We made from among them leaders who would
guide by Our Command,
since they were steadfast and they were certain about Our Verses
and Miracles. |
|
25- |
Certainly your Lord on the Day of
Resurrection will separate (right from wrong)
and judge between them on the matters in which they had
differences of opinion. |
|
26- |
Is it not enough for their guidance the fact
that how many folks We have destroyed before them,
in whose dwellings they walk?
Certainly in this observation there are lessons to be learned.
Would they still not listen (to the facts)?
|
|
27- |
Don't they observe that We move the water (as
clouds and rains) towards dried up lands,
then We let grow up by it, farms, whose harvest and produce
their animals and they themselves eat.
Don't they see and get the meaning of it? |
|
28- |
They keep on saying: "If you are being
truthful, when is this fact and victory (of yours) going to
happen? |
|
29- |
Say to them: "On that Day of victory (Day of
Resurrection), the belief of those who had been disbelievers,
will be of no benefit to them and they will not be given any
more chance. |
|
30- |
So turn away from them and wait (for the
victory) as they are waiting also (for their punishment). |

Spirit = soul, consciousness, conscience and life all belong to God, just as
all matter, time and space all belong to God. Spirit is not a part of
God, but a creation of God, just as the holy spirit of angel Gabriel is
a creation of God. God does not have parts, He owns all parts and
everything in the heavens and the earth
