|
The Row of Unity - Chapter 61 | Contains 14 verses – Medina |
|
|
سَبَّحَ لِلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ |
|
1- |
Whatever is in the heavens and the earth, (by
their nature) has always been glorifying God. And He is the Almighty-Irresistible, the All-Wise. |
|
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آَمَنُوا لِمَ تَقُولُونَ مَا لَا تَفْعَلُونَ |
|
2- |
O you who believe, Why do you say something which you don’t do? |
|
كَبُرَ مَقْتًا عِندَ اللَّهِ أَن تَقُولُوا مَا لَا تَفْعَلُونَ |
|
3- |
It is a major blunder in View of God that you say something which you don’t act upon (yourselves). |
|
إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ الَّذِينَ يُقَاتِلُونَ فِي سَبِيلِهِ صَفًّا كَأَنَّهُم بُنيَانٌ مَّرْصُوصٌ |
|
4- |
Certainly God loves those who fight in His Cause in a Row of Unity, as if they were a solid structure. |
|
وَإِذْ قَالَ مُوسَى لِقَوْمِهِ يَا قَوْمِ لِمَ تُؤْذُونَنِي وَقَد تَّعْلَمُونَ أَنِّي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ إِلَيْكُمْ فَلَمَّا زَاغُوا أَزَاغَ اللَّهُ قُلُوبَهُمْ وَاللَّهُ لَا يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الْفَاسِقِينَ |

5- |
And recall when Moses told his people: “O my people, Why do you give me hard time, although you know in fact that I am a Messenger of God to you?” So when they turned away (from God’s Commandments), God let their hearts go away (from the right path); as God does not guide rebellious evil-mongering people. |
|
وَإِذْ قَالَ
عِيسَى ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ يَا بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ إِنِّي رَسُولُ
اللَّهِ إِلَيْكُم مُّصَدِّقًا لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيَّ مِنَ
التَّوْرَاةِ وَمُبَشِّرًا |

6- |
Also remember when Jesus, son of Mary
said: “O children of Israel, I am a messenger of God to you,
confirming that part of Torah, which is available to us and as a bringer of good news for the coming of a Messenger after me, whose name is Ahmad (in Aramaic, in Hebrew Machmad: Mohammad)". But when he (Ahmad: Muhammad) came to them, with clear signs, they said: “This is a clear magic”. 1 |
|
وَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّنِ افْتَرَى عَلَى اللَّهِ الْكَذِبَ وَهُوَ يُدْعَى إِلَى الْإِسْلَامِ وَاللَّهُ لَا يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الظَّالِمِينَ |
|
7- |
And who is more unjust and wrong than a
person who invents a lie, claiming it to be the Word of God or who claims and calls the Word of God as a lie, while he is being invited to Islam (submission to God)? And (know that) God does not guide unjust people. |
|
يُرِيدُونَ لِيُطْفِؤُوا نُورَ اللَّهِ بِأَفْوَاهِهِمْ وَاللَّهُ مُتِمُّ نُورِهِ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْكَافِرُونَ |
|
8- |
They intend to put out the Light of God (the
religion of Islam and the Quran) with their mouths. But God will cause His Light to shine thoroughly, even though the disbelievers hate it. |
|
هُوَ الَّذِي أَرْسَلَ رَسُولَهُ بِالْهُدَى وَدِينِ الْحَقِّ لِيُظْهِرَهُ عَلَى الدِّينِ كُلِّهِ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْمُشْرِكُونَ |
|
9- |
He is the One, Who has sent His Messenger
with Guidance and religion of truth, to make it manifest and shine over all other religions, even though the associators (who associate others in worship besides God) hate it. |
|
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آَمَنُوا هَلْ أَدُلُّكُمْ عَلَى تِجَارَةٍ تُنجِيكُم مِّنْ عَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ |
|
10- |
O you who believe, may I guide you to a trade which will save you from a painful suffering? |
|
تُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ وَتُجَاهِدُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ بِأَمْوَالِكُمْ وَأَنفُسِكُمْ ذَلِكُمْ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ |
|
11- |
You should believe in God and His Messenger
and strive in the Cause of God with your wealth and your own
beings; that is best for you, if you only would know it! |
|
يَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ ذُنُوبَكُمْ وَيُدْخِلْكُمْ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ وَمَسَاكِنَ طَيِّبَةً فِي جَنَّاتِ عَدْنٍ ذَلِكَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ |
|
12- |
So that He (your Lord) will forgive your sins and admit
you into Gardens (of Paradise) below which rivers and streams flow and nice houses in Garden of Eden (Everlasting). That is the Great Success. |
|
وَأُخْرَى تُحِبُّونَهَا نَصْرٌ مِّنَ اللَّهِ وَفَتْحٌ قَرِيبٌ وَبَشِّرِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ |
|
13- |
Also you will receive what you love: Help from God and a
near-future victory. And (O Muhammad) give good news (to come) to the believers. |
|
يَا أَيُّهَا
الَّذِينَ آَمَنُوا كُونوا أَنصَارَ اللَّهِ كَمَا قَالَ عِيسَى
ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ لِلْحَوَارِيِّينَ مَنْ أَنصَارِي إِلَى اللَّهِ |
|
14- |
O you who believe, Be helpers in the Cause of
God, just as Jesus son of Mary told his disciples: “Who are my helpers in the Cause of God?” The disciples said: “We are the helpers in the Cause of God.” then a group of Children of Israel (of the Israelites) believed and another group disbelieved and rejected (him). So We decided that those who believed to prevail and win over their enemies, they then got the upper hand. |
