The
Control of the Universe - Chapter 67
| Contains 30 verses – Makka |
|
In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
ذ |
|
|
1- |
The source of all blessing is the One, in
Whose Hand
is the Control of the universe
(the Kingdom and Dominion of the heavens and the earth)
and He is Capable and Determinant over all things. |
|
2- |
The One, Who created death and life, through
which He may test you
as to which one of you will be the best in good deeds.
And (to show you that) He is the All Dominating Almighty, yet so
Forgiving, |
|
3- |
He Who created the seven skies in layers.
You don’t see any deviation in the Creation of the Most
Gracious (God).
Then look back again, do you see any shortcoming or weakness?
1 |
|
4- |
So yet again look back twice, your
observation will make you humble, in a
state of utter humility. |
|
5- |
And indeed We have made the sky of the
(earthly) world beautiful,
decorated with many (star) lamps and made them (like rock hard)
deterrents against all evil intruders;
and prepared for them the scorching torment.
2 |
|
6- |
And for those who disregard their Lord, there
will be the torment of Hell;
and what an awful bad destination it is. |
|
7- |
When they are dumped in it (into the Hell),
they will hear its roar as it is blazing forth. |
|
8- |
It will appear as if it is going to burst
with fury.
Every time a group is cast into it, its workers (angels of Hell)
will ask: “Did no warner ever come to you?” |
|
9- |
They will respond, saying: “Yes, indeed a
warner did come to us, but then we called him a liar and said;
'God never sent anything down (as a Message), you are only in a
great delusion'. ”. |
|
10- |
They will continue to say:
“If only we would listen or use our reasoning, we wouldn’t be
among the inhabitant of the blazing Fire”. |
|
11- |
They confess their sin, and so down with
the dwellers of the blazing Fire. |
|
12- |
Truly those who are in awe of their Lord, the
Unseen, in secret, there shall be forgiveness and a great reward for them. |
|
|
13- |
(Know that) wاether
you keep your talk secret or say it aloud;
He is the All Knowing of what is in your hearts. |
|
14- |
Does the One Who has created all, not know?
Whereas He is the All Precise and the All Aware (of everything). |
|
15- |
He is the One, Who made the earth subject for
your use, so you walk along its paths and eat of His provisions.
And there will after all be a Resurrection to Him (you will
be returned alive again for Reckoning). |
|
16- |
Do you feel secure that He Who is (also in
cotrol) over
the sky,
will not cause the earth's ground to sink with you, while it
will be trembling? |
|
17- |
Or do you feel secure that He Who is (also in
control)
over the sky,
would not send you a violent rock-containing tornado
(whirlwind)?
Then you would know how My Warning happens? |
|
18- |
Surely there were those before them who
denied (the Message) and called them lies,
what and how was then the punishment for the denial? |
|
19- |
Don’t they see the bird above them spreading
and pulling there wings?
No one keeps them in the air except the Most Gracious (God).
He is truly All Observing over all things. |
|
20- |
Who is this army of yours, who could help
you, other than the Most Gracious (God)?
The disbelievers are in nothing but delusion and self
deception. |
|
21- |
Who could ever provide for you, if He (God)
would withhold His Provision from you?
Yet they insist in disobedience, and in running away from and in detesting
the truth. |
|
22- |
Is the one who walks prone on his face
(without looking up to the reality)
better guided or a person who walks upright on the right path? |
|
23- |
Say He (God) is the One, Who designed and
created you
and granted you the ability to hear and to see and to think (to
perceive).
3
So few and little is that you thank Him. |
|
24- |
Say: “He is the One Who multiplied and
scattered you around on earth
and
to Him you all shall be gathered (on the Day of Judgment,
Resurrection). |
|
25- |
And they say: “When is this promise going to
take place, if you are telling the truth?” |
|
26- |
Say: “The knowledge (of its exact time) is
with God only and I (Muhammad) am only an explaining warners”. |
|
27- |
Then when they will see it approaching, the
faces of those who denied the truth,
will turn very sad in grief and they will be told:
“This is what you had been asking about”. |
|
|
28- |
(O Muhammad) Say: “Don’t you see?
If God destroys me and those along with me, or He bestows His
Mercy on us,
who can save the disbelievers from a painful torment and
punishment. |
|
29- |
Say: “He is the Most Gracious (God), in Him
we believe and in Him we trust.
So you will know who has been in obvious error (we the
believers or you the disbelievers)”. |
|
30- |
Say: “Do you realize if your water were to
sink down, who else would or could supply you with spring
water?” |
1-
The seven
layers of the sky of earth and number seven also means the
innumerable galaxies (heavens).
2-
Any devilish
harmful objects trying to enter the earth’s sky (atmosphere) are doomed
to be burned off, as if hitting rock hard deterrents.
3-
In has been recognized in the medical knowledge that during the fetal
development, first the ears and hearing develop, then the eyes and later
on the power of perception, as the Holy Quran says.
