The Realization - Chapter 69
|
Contains 52 verses – Makka |
|
In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
ذ |
|
1- |
The Reality which would surely take place (the
Day of Judgment). |
|
3- |
And what will make you know how that Reality will be? |
|
4- |
(Even far back) The Thamood and Aad people
denied the News of the striking Event (of the Day of Judgment) |
|
5- |
As for the Thamood people, they were
destroyed by an awful blast (thunder-bolt) by their revolt. |
|
6- |
And as for the Aad people, they were
destroyed by a raging violent wind, |
|
7- |
Which He (God) overwhelmed them by that for seven
nights and eight days continuously,
so that you could see the people thrown around (dead), as if
they were like uprooted hollow palm trees. |
|
8- |
Do you see any remnants of them? |
|
9- |
And the Pharaoh and people before him and the
cities (such as Sodom and Gomorrah) were overthrown,
because they committed sins. |
|
10- |
And they had disobeyed the Messenger of their
Lord, so He seized them to a severe punishment. |
|
|
11- |
Certainly (in the time of Noah) when the
water rose beyond the flood level,
We carried you (people like you), in the floating ship (Ark of Noah). |
|
12- |
So that We made all that a (lasting)
reminder, so that alert and retaining ears might keep it (in
mind). |
|
13- |
And so it will be that when the Trumpet (a
massive sound) is blown with a single blast (before the
Resurrection), |
|
|
14- |
And the earth and all the mountains are moved
and carried and crushed with a single crushing, |
|
15- |
Then on that day, the Great Event shall take
place. |
|
16- |
And the sky shall break up apart and on that
day, it shall be frail and loose. |
|
17- |
And the angels will be taking care of it.
And eight angelic powers will carry your Lord’s Controlling
Command on that Day, over and above them. |
|
18- |
On that Day, you all will be brought to
judgment, no secret of yours will be hidden. |
|
19- |
Then to whom his (or her) record will be
given in his (or her) right hand, will then say:
“Here it is, read my record”. |
|
20- |
“I surely believed that I will reach my
account”. |
|
21- |
So he (or she) will be in a delightful,
satisfying life. |
22- |
In the lofty Garden (of Paradise). |
23- |
The fruits of which will be low (and easy to
pick). |
|
24- |
(They will be told:) Eat and drink at your pleasure for all that
goodness you sent ahead in your days long past. |
|
25- |
But as for the one, whose Book of Record will
be given in his (or her) left hand, will say:
“Pity on me, I whish I had not been given my record”. |
|
26- |
“And that I would never have known what my
Record is about”. |
|
27- |
“I wish that it would have been the end (of
my existence)”. |
|
28- |
“My wealth did not help me out”. |
|
29- |
“All my power and control vanished from me”. |
30- |
(The order comes:) “Seize him and put him in
bondage of chains”. |
|
31- |
“Then throw him into the blazing Fire”. |
|
32- |
“Then put him in chain of seventy cubits
(meters) length, to keep him fastened”. |
|
33- |
He really would not believe in the Great God. |
|
34- |
And would not care or encourage feeding of
the needy. |
|
35- |
So on this Day, he has no friend in here. |
|
36- |
And no food except filth and trash, like washing
fluids of wounds. |
|
37- |
Which only the sinners-disbelieves eat. |
|
38- |
So I do not swear on what you
see, |
39- |
And what you can not see (God does not need
to swear, since He always tells the truth and must believe Him). |
|
40- |
(But know that) Truly this (the Quran) is the
Word of an
honored Messenger (Gabriel to Muhammad, the Messenger of God). |
|
41- |
It is not the word of some poet; so little is
what you believe. |
|
42- |
Nor is it the word of a foreteller, little is
what you reflect. |
|
43- |
This is the Revelation from the Lord of the
worlds and the Lord of all that exist. |
|
44- |
And if he (Muhammad) had forged any sayings
in Our Name, |
|
45- |
We would surely had seized him by the right
hand (of Our Power). |
|
46- |
And We would then certainly had cut off his
aorta. |
|
47- |
Then not a single one of you could have
withheld his punishment. |
|
48- |
And certainly it (the Quran) is a Reminder
for God-conscious, pious persons. |
|
49- |
And of course We know that among you,
there are those who reject it and call it lies. |
|
50- |
And that it is in fact a cause of anguish to
the unbelievers. |
|
51- |
It is indeed the absolute certain Truth. |
|
52- |
So praise the Name of your Lord, the Most
Great. |
|
