Resurrection - Chapter 75
| Contains 40 verses – Makka |
|
In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful |
|
|
1- |
I do not swear to the situation of the Day of
Resurrection. |
|
2- |
Neither do I swear to the conscience (given
to mankind), blaming self strongly (for one’s mistakes and
sins). |
|
3- |
Does a (non believing) person think that We
will not put his bones together (at Resurrection)? |
|
4- |
Not only that, We even are Capable of putting
back his fingers (print) perfectly.
1 |
|
5- |
But mankind (by denying the Resurrection)
desires to continue his sins. |
|
6- |
He asks: “When will be the Day of
Resurrection?” |
7- |
It shall be, when the sight shall be
flashed and dazed. |
8- |
And the moon will be eclipsed and darkened. |
|
9- |
And the sun and the moon will be joined
together. |
|
10- |
On that Day, man will say: “Where is a place
to flee?” |
11- |
But no ways there is no refuge. |
|
12- |
Unto your Lord will be the Station to go to,
on that Day. |
|
13- |
On that Day, every one will be informed of what he
or she sent ahead (during his lifetime on earth)
and what he left behind (good or bad effects or traditions). |
|
14- |
Mankind will be even a witness-observer of
his record, against himself. |
|
15- |
Even though he may throw in (mention) excuses. |
|
16- |
(O Muhammad) Do not move your tongue, to make
haste (in reciting the Quran). |
|
17- |
Certainly its collection and its recital is
upon Us. |
|
18- |
So when We have recited to you, then follow
its recital. |
|
19- |
Then it is of course for Us to make it clear. |
|
20- |
Yet you mankind love the fleeting life of
this world. |
21- |
And you neglect the Hereafter Life. |
|
22- |
On that Day, (many) faces will be bright with
happiness. |
23- |
Looking up to their Lord (God, for
Blessings). |
|
24- |
On that Day, other faces will be gloomy with
despair. |
|
25- |
Expecting that a crushing calamity is about
to fall on them. |
|
26- |
(Yet before that, he was not believing so),
when the last breath (of the dying person) reaches the throat. |
27- |
And it will be said: “Who can save him
(from death)?” |
|
28- |
While he (the dying person) knows that he is
passing away. |
|
29- |
And one leg is joined (wrapped) with the
other leg (shrouded after the death). |
|
30- |
On that Day, the walking direction will be to
your Lord. |
|
31- |
So the non believer who neither confirmed
(the truth of Islam), nor prayed. |
|
32- |
But on the contrary, he claimed the religion of
God to be a lie and turned away, |
|
33- |
Then walked to his family arrogantly. |
34- |
(To such a person will be said:) You deserve
the destruction which you really deserve, |
|
|
35- |
Again, you deserve the destruction which you
really deserve, |
|
36- |
Does mankind assume that he (or she) is be
left alone, without any accountability and goal? |
|
37- |
Wasn’t he from a single cell (mixture of male
and female cells), from a semen, poured out? |
|
38- |
Then he became a suspended being (in the wall
of uterus).
He (God) further created and shaped him nicely. |
|
39- |
And He made of him (his semen) the two sexes,
male and female.
2 |
|
40- |
Is such a Powerful Creator not capable to
bring the dead back to life? |
1
This is another miracle of the Quran which
explains about the individual fingerprint which is different in
every person and this fact became known first in the nineteenth
century, whereas it was mentioned more than 1400 years ago by the
Almighty God to His last prophet Muhammad (pbuh)
2
We now know that the carrier of sex gene is the male, in the semen of
the father.
