| Contains 36 verses – Medina |
|
In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
ذ |
|
1- |
Woe to those who defraud people. |
|
|
2- |
Those who when they buy and receive an amount
of merchandise from people, they demand full measure, |
|
3- |
But when they are selling it by measure or
weight, they give less than the amount which is due. |
|
4- |
Don’t they think that they will be
resurrected (for reckoning)? |
|
6- |
The Day when all people will have to stand
before the Lord of the Worlds with all that exist |
|
7- |
Not so, (this is not the way they think or
they believe, they do not believe in the Day of Judgment).
Certainly the Record book of the wicked evil- mongers will be in
the Sijjin (their Detailed Registry) |
|
8- |
And what is your understanding of Sijjin? |
9- |
It is a detailed registry Book, all written up. |
|
10- |
Too bad on that Day for those who deny the truth,
claiming them to be lies. |
|
11- |
Those who deny the Day of Religion (the Day
of Reckoning in which
everyone’s faith will be judged upon). |
|
12- |
And no one would deny it except those who
trespass the limits set by God and indulge in sins. |
|
13- |
So that when Our Verses (of the Quran) are
recited to him, he would say; “These are tales of the ancients.”
|
|
14- |
Not so, but the evil results of their deeds,
caused a covering upon their hearts (so that they can not
believe), |
|
15- |
No way, they (the habitual sinners will not
be favored upon, but) will surely be barred (from their Lord‘s
Mercy) |
|
|
16- |
Then they will arrive and enter the Fire of
Hell. |
|
17- |
Then they will be told; “This is what you
used to deny”. |
|
18- |
Contrary to them, the Record-Book of the
righteous pious persons will be in ‘Illiyyin',
(a highly valued place of Registry of their deeds), |
|
19- |
And what is your understanding of Illiyyoon? |
20- |
It is a (highly valued) Registry Book, all written
up (about the good people), |
|
21- |
Which those who are dear near to God, bear witness to
and testify it. |
|
22- |
Certainly the righteous pious persons will be
in great blessings, and delight. |
|
23- |
Leaning on high seats and looking around. |
|
24- |
You could recognize in their faces, the
brightness of delight in blessings. |
|
25 |
They will be served to drink from pure sealed
containers. |
|
26- |
The seal of it smells of musk and all those
who are striving and compete (for great success,)
should strive toward this delight and Blessing. |
|
27- |
Also its taste will have a flavor of Tasnim: |
|
28- |
Which is a drink from a spring, from which
the ones who are nearest to God, have the privilege to drink
from. |
|
29- |
In fact those who committed crimes and sins
(during their life on earth) used to laugh at those who believed
(in God). |
|
30- |
And whenever they passed by them, they used
to wink to one another (making fun of the believers), |
|
31- |
And when they returned to their own kind of
people, they returned while doing jests of ridicule, laughing . |
|
32- |
And when they saw them, they would say:
“those guys are really gone nuts”. |
|
33- |
But they (the disbelievers) were not sent
with any duty or business to watch or protect them (the
believers). |
|
34- |
But then, on this Day, those who believe,
will have the laugh at the deniers. |
|
|
35- |
Sitting on high seats, looking around and
watching, |
|
36- |
Did the deniers-disbelievers getting
back what they used to do? |
|
|
