The Night of High Importance - Chapter 97

|
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ
الرَّحِيمِ |
|
|
In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful |
|
|
إِنَّا
أَنزَلْنَاهُ فِي لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ |
|
|
1- |
We have indeed sent it (The Quran) down (to
mankind via Muhammad) during the Night of High Importance.

|
وَمَا
أَدْرَاكَ مَا لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ |
|
|
2- |
And what is your perception and understanding of the Night of
High Importance? |
|
لَيْلَةُ
الْقَدْرِ خَيْرٌ مِّنْ أَلْفِ شَهْرٍ |
|
|
3- |
The Night of High Importance is better than a
thousand months. |
|
تَنَزَّلُ
الْمَلَائِكَةُ وَالرُّوحُ فِيهَا بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِم مِّن كُلِّ
أَمْرٍ |
|
|
4- |
During that Night, the angels and the Spirit
(archangel Gabriel) descend down (to earth) by the Permission of
their Lord,
to perform all kinds of duties commanded (by God) |
|
سَلَامٌ هِيَ
حَتَّى مَطْلَعِ الْفَجْرِ |
|
|
5- |
There is all peace during that night till the
appearance of the dawn. |
