Accumulation of Wealth
- Chapter 102
| Contains 8 verses –
Mecca |
|
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ
الرَّحِيمِ |
|
|
In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful |
|
|
1- |
You are obsessed and preoccupied with greed
to accumulate
wealth, |
|
حَتَّى
زُرْتُمُ الْمَقَابِرَ |
|
|
2- |
Until you visit the graves. (Until you go down into your graves). |
|
كَلَّا سَوْفَ
تَعْلَمُونَ |
|
|
3- |
This is not right, as you will get to
know it in time. |
|
ثُمَّ كَلَّا
سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ |
|
|
4- |
But then again, this is not right, as you will get to
know it in time. |
|
كَلَّا لَوْ
تَعْلَمُونَ عِلْمَ الْيَقِينِ |
|
|
5- |
That is not right, since if you knew with
certainty (the end result of that hoarding), |
|
6- |
You would evidently see the blazing Fire. |
|
ثُمَّ
لَتَرَوُنَّهَا عَيْنَ الْيَقِينِ |
|
|
7- |
Then again you shall see it with the eye of
certainty. |
|
ثُمَّ
لَتُسْأَلُنَّ يَوْمَئِذٍ عَنِ النَّعِيمِ |
|
|
8- |
Then on that Day (of Judgment), you shall be
asked about all the pleasures and luxuries which you had indulged
in. |
